Had our old family cine film from 60s & 70s transferred to digital on USB. The results were amazing. Sid added music to the silent films & that has enhanced the films.

They had not been viewed for over 50 years and featured parents and grandparents (sadly no longer with us) as well as holidays with 2 brothers and other friends and family

One small issue - there was a mistake on the sleeve in the cover of the DVD. It should have read Charnwood Forest and Margaret's visit 1969, but it said 1979. Fortunately it was correct on the DVD itself. However you were able to replace the cover in the post within 24 hours. Many thanks again for your excellent service. JP 2014

Just to let you know that your package arrived safely and I have successfully downloaded all of the films. They run well in Premier Pro 1.5 (with the project audio set at 48Khz) and I am already beavering away with the editing.  I will post your drives back to you on Monday, as the post office here is now closed. Whilst having a clear out recently, I stumbled across an old reel to reel tape which contained some past family get together’s. The tape was last played well over 30 years ago and my Mother had always believed that it had been lost forever. Tape in hand I paid Sid a visit and the rest is history so to speak! He transferred it to CD and even edited into sections and neatly presented too! Fantastic service from a really nice bloke. Thanks Sid, this will be some Christmas present for my Mother.

Value for money needs a "6" category. Is there anybody out there who HASN'T disposed of their 1/4" Tape equipment that could do a better job of transferring valuable (to me!) audio data on to a CD (and in 2 formats as well when I only really asked for one!) than our man Sid? It is so good to receive excellent service for a change together with a result to be proud of. I had the same cine films transferred last year with another company at considerable cost and was very very disappointed with the results. When questioned, the company simply said it was the best they could do!

Memories were able to take the same cine films and produce an astounding DVD, with a selection menu at the start where I can go straight to any film clip, titles and music backing. I was also able to sit down with you to edit and add titles throughout the films. It seemed that nothing was too much trouble to achieve the results I wanted. No hesitation in recommending you. The cine films in small metal cases (note added;  this refers to 9.5mm Pathescope film)  has been in a box for over 50 years, and dates back to the 1930's. I remember seeing it as a child, when my father used to project it onto a wall.  The last time must have been about 1948.  It is quite amazing to be able to bring it back to life and view it on the TV.  Thank you so much for the time and trouble you have taken working with me to get the names and titles just perfect. You have treated them as if they were your own. I did not dare send them to other companies incase they were lost. They have such great sentimental value.  RP Nottingham   2006
